Arthritis Walk Pictures

We had a great time at the Arthritis Walk this past week-end. We don't have a total yet of how much we were able to raise, but we'll post that as soon as we get those numbers. The weather started out beautiful but the storms rolled in before we could get all the way through the 5k. At about the 2 and 1/2 mile mark the rain came. Being the dedicated AOII's that we are, we finished the walk in the rain! A big thanks to all who supported the walk this year!

Arthritis Walk - This week-end!

Don't forget to come out for the Lake County IL Arthritis Walk this week-end in Libertyville. Join your sisters as we walk together to find a cure!

If you are unable to join us this week-end, the following week-end AOII from all over Chicago Land will be joining together at Lincoln Park in Downtown Chicago for the Chicago Arthritis Walk.

Up coming events

We have been busy planning our next few months of events.

May 13th at 7:00 we will be having ladies night out at Cubby Bear North. (please note the change in meeting time)

May 30th is the adopt a highway clean up - don't forget to wear something old and bring gloves - we will provide the vests! What do you think we will find this time? Last time we actually found money!

June 13th is the annual planning meeting for next fall's events, bring your ideas and help us plan another great year!

July 12th is the Strike Out Arthritis Event. We are trying something new this year. Bring your family and friends to our Strike out with the Wii! You can bowl or play baseball on the Wii, great for all ages, even my young boys can play!
